Following USA Wheelchair Rugby League's successful participation at the Rugby League World Cup, plans are being developed to launch a USA Domestic Competition beginning in April 2024. This exciting new sport which is fully inclusive of all athletes, disabled and non-disabled, male and female from ages 16 onwards, began in the Carolinas in 2019. Our growth resulted in an invitation to international competition.

Our plans call for the establishment of 10-12 teams (8-10 players each) to begin playing April - August 2024, initially in the Carolinas and Georgia. Further expansion into other states. including California, Florida, Hawaii, New York, Texas and Utah in the future is envisaged.  We are excited about the growth potential in this totally inclusive sport which brings players of all ages, many veterans, women and men together!

We seek players interested in being part of this new competition. No experience is necessary. There is no classification system for players and our qualified and skilled coaching staff can teach you the game quickly.  As a new wheelchair sport, our current players love the game and were quick learners as our participation in international competition in the last year exhibited.
