The USA Wheelchair Rugby League (USA WhRL), participants in the Rugby League World Cup in England last year, is a diverse and inclusive entity which values all athletes for their contributions to our game. Wheelchair Rugby League is a new game in the United States and our development and growth has an unlimited future. YOU can be part of this growth under experienced coaches and management who will teach you this exciting game.

We seek all athletes, 16 and upwards, disabled or non-disabled. male of female who are ready for this challenge. Your initial Expression of Interest in becoming USA WhRL Player can be sent directly via our socials or to our website.

No experience or knowledge of Rugby League is necessary. Our coaches are skilled and can teach the game quickly.  Our current players came from a variety of wheelchair sports and were very competitive internationally last year. We have an exciting schedule coming up against several international teams that YOU can be part of in 2024 and onwards!!

USA WhRL Team Trials will be held in Houston, TX: 9th-10th December 2023. It will be a development and scouting combine for this exciting sport to secure a 24 player squad for our international matches against Wales & Australia in February + March 2024. Further details on  the Houston Team Trials location and times will be released Friday, September 29th 2023!
